Sound and editing

  • Can add another microphone, however you cannot add a Boom microphone.

Zoom H4

  • Also uses normal SD cards.
  • Also has 2 microphones.
  • You can have a additional two microphones
  • However it is not as user friendly as it doesn't remember internal settings

Sound recording is where you can record sounds like music, interviews etc. To use a sound recorder you obviously need to turn it on first and then you put in the SD card to be able to move the recordings around and keep it saved. Then you might want to adjust the volume on the recorder once you've plugged in your headphones or earphones  and to also get used to how it actually sounds because at first it could sound weird and then you're all set and ready to go.

After you've finished recording your interview or music video you will want to start editing it and how i edited my interview was by cutting and moving things around in the sound recording to make it sound better. And overall it did

College Tours

On the 21st of September we did a sound recorded tour of the college during this we went to the outside patio in the cafeteria and also the media rooms until finishing in our classroom and then editing the audio log. The one thats recorded here is my version where we are doing a sound recorded tour of the mac room. Personally i thought the quality of it was ok but certainly had room for improvement but apart from that i thought all round it was ok.

This is a screenshot of the editing progress for the college tour sound recording first we cut out all the bits where theres big pauses and disruptions
